Heidi Watney

Heidi Watney (born May 19, 1981) is an American sportscaster and a reporter for Apple TV+.A graduate of the University of San Diego, her previous experience in sportscasting includes stints in MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations in Fresno.Watney attended Clovis West High School in Fresno, participating in hurdles, diving, gymnastics and cheerleading. One of her achievements was being an National Merit Scholar, and she was a student at the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003 she graduated from the university with high distinction. Watney was the first runner up in Miss California USA 2002. Watney began her career at KMPH-TV in Fresno in September 2003. She began as a morning traffic reporter. She then transitioned to the anchor for weekend sports as well as the sports reporter on weekdays in 2005. [3]Watney moved to Massachusetts in 2008 and started working at New England Sports Network (NESN). She was a Boston Red Sox gameday reporter. Watney was also host of Ultimate Red Sox Show, Red Sox Report and Red Sox Report. In January 2012 Watney began working for Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles as a reporter for LA Galaxy. In November 2012 Watney was hired by MLB Network. She worked there for nine years. She was also the host of Quick Pitch. She joined Apple TV+ in 2022. 6.
