sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was originally born July 6, 1946 in Hell's Kitchen as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone. He's the elder child of the Italian born Francesco "Frank" Stallone Sr hairdresser, as well as Jackie Stallone, an astrologer and dancer. He has a younger brother named Frank Stallone, who is a musician and actor. Childbirth complications led to the lower left side of Sylvester's facial to become paralyzed, giving him the now iconic "snarling" face and slightly slurred speech. Stallone had a portion of his early years in foster care because of the volatile parent-child relationship. They separated later. Stallone took classes in drama at the American College in Switzerland before taking a flight to the University of Miami. He left school before finishing his studies and moved to New York City to pursue acting as a career.
