Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born the 24th of April, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American performer, songwriter and TV host. She was a contestant in 2002 when she won her first American Idol talent competition. Clarkson was raised in Burleson (Texas) and is a suburb in the vicinity of Fort Worth. Her vocal talents were recognized when she was just seven years old from the head of the choir department at the school she attended. Clarkson was able to leave high school and move towards Los Angeles where she failed to make it in the world of entertainment. After returning to Texas Clarkson was a contestant on the first season of the FOX Broadcasting Co's American Idol, a singing competition that allowed viewers to vote for their favourite performer. People were impressed by Clarkson's strong personality, voice, and humor. Her prize was $1 million, and she also signed a recording agreement with RCA.
