Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most famous role is the anchorperson of the CNN's At This Hour morning show. She co-anchored CNN's weekday morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been a part of CNN's award-winning coverage for the presidential elections of 2012 and in 2016. Bolduan was a correspondent from Washington, DC covering activities in the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan's coverage of congressional events and events during her time as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiations to raise the debt ceiling for the US, as well as discussions by the super-committee. Bolduan has worked as an associate reporter on general assignments. She covered such stories like the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision regarding Obamacare. Bolduan also reported on the implementation of government stimulus plans for 2009. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007. She worked as a CNN Newsource national correspondent, providing breaking news and feature reporting to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations.
