Coleman is from Lancashire. Coleman was head of the class at Arnold School, Blackpool and got straight A's for her A-levels. While discussing her character in Emmerdale she expressed her regret at being unable to attend a college. Coleman performed in Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival in a troupe called In Yer Space, which she was part of while at school. The award was presented to her in recognition of her performance. Coleman has been nominated for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. On the 21st March 2012, Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat made it clear at a press conference that Coleman will play the role of the Doctor's friend alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat selected her because of how well she complemented Smith and the fact that she was able to speak more quickly than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her involvement within the film industry since 1987. However she has been the most well-known TV actress and in films. From all the characters Eva has appeared in on television shows, Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which are the most notable. The former brought her two nominations for a Daytime Emmy.' She also got to showcase her creativity via music. Alongside being an actor, Eva is also a charitable philanthropist, as well as entrepreneurial. She was married three times and has a daughter from her second husband.
